Version 5.0801:
With this release, we have fully decommissioned Assure V4.
Reports
- after scrolling down in the reports page and then generating a new report, we now scroll to top while generating a new report
Alerts
- the Alert form has been overhauled to allow the immediacy and auto-prioritization setting to be set per category/classification. The recommended defaults are set upon selection and the user is allowed to adjust
- the Alerts emails now have HTML content with a more intuitive/user friendly look and feel
- we have introduced “application” to the Alerts History. When visible in the data grid it can be filtered (click or using the filter under Triggers column) and/or searched. It is visible in the “view” of Alerts History, available in export (CSV), User report Alert tab (export CSV and overall User report PDF) and Custom reports (Alerts subreport)
- we have reduced the minimum length of the whitelistable phrase to be 10 (used to be 12)
- we now take the enable_whitelist_substring_matching parameter into consideration and delete existing alerts accordingly when we whitelist from Alerts History (either exact match or substring match)
- we have exposed the IP address that was used by the user who triggered an alert through the Alerts History tab and also the generated email
Rules
- when the Allow Indefinite Overrides setting is enabled by an admin, the temporary is still the default for a new rule
Admin
- action log: whitelisted phrases, words and phrases, classifications and search terms are all searchable even though they’re not visible in the data grid
- we now have searcher for settings page, letter filter and filters for permissions page
- we now have searcher and filters for categories and application groups pages
- we now have importing functionality for words & phrases and user groups
- we have reduced the minimum length of whitelistable phrases to be 10 letters (used to be 12)
Misc
- minor bug fixes
- navigation and speed improvements
- access check is further enhanced
- we now have a global setting for max records for PDF’s and every single PDF respects that (different reports, including the user report which will respect that but for each tab, custom reports, etc). If the user is trying to generate a PDF via the UI and the total is above that limit (currently set to 2500), we display it in the export confirmation. We also add a NOTE in the generated PDF (above and below the grid)
- the PDF for traffic report is also landscape now and the order in which the charts appear are consistent with the way they appear within the UI
