Reports:

  • We’ve introduced the Offline Users Report. Upon selecting a group, this report will display the users who have no data being reported for them which may be a result of them bypassing the school’s firewall/web filter. This report can be exported as a CSV and PDF. It can also be saved as a template and scheduled to be sent to others if needed.
  • Reports now have Mon-Fri last week as a new option in the Time Frame drop down.
  • The default sorting in the Alerts sub-report (in Custom Reports) is now by audience instead of by date.
  • Admins can now view the details of Saved Reports (including Custom Reports) created by other software users.

Alerts:

  • In the Alerts form, the Category (web category) is no longer required when there is at least one Classification (words and phrases) selected. Similarly, a Classification is not required to be selected when there is at least one Category selected.
  • We’ve introduced a system-wide parameter to control whether the content of the Wellbeing Alerts emails is in raw table format or the newer summarised format – you will need to send a request to our Support team to complete the change if required.
  • In the summarised version of the Wellbeing Alerts emails, the user information sections are now expanded by default.
  • We’ve updated the labelling for the Wellbeing Alerts emails. ‘Immediate’ is now highlighted and ‘Low Priority’ will not appear if the email is only displaying low priority alerts.
  • We’ve added a PDF export option for the chat and email context view.

Rules:

  • We’ve made the terminology used in the Rules form more consistent (we are now using the terms ‘block’ and ‘rule scope’ on all forms and have renamed the ‘Block Rest’ option to be ‘Block Everything Else’).
  • The Rules form now also has helpful info icons to help guide you through the setup of different parameters.
  • We’ve made LMS integration (Canvas and Schoolbox) enhancements. Supervisors can now create rules to Allow by Category or by Application (depending on the NGFW type) and can also specify the start and end times. For Rules by URL or by Category, the supervisor can also set them to only allow web traffic to the web content specified and block everything else.

Admin:

  • The URL whitelisting action is now recorded in the Action Log (the event name is called ‘WhitelistedUrl’ in Item column).
  • Special characters (including Latin-only emoticons) are now able to be added to the Words & Phrases Dictionary list and Whitelisted Phrases list.
  • We now have filter fields within the User Groups and Users sections.

Misc:

  • We have now added the option to be able to scroll horizontally from the top and bottom of a page when viewing wide data grids.
  • The Guide link in the main menu now takes you to the corresponding section depending on the page you’re viewing at that time.
  • We have added support for JumpCloud LDAP-as-a-Service and JumpCloud SSO.

Bug Fixes:

  • The Detailed Web Report (found under the User Report – Web tab, the Web Report, and the Advanced Report by URL) now shows data only for the timeframe parameters that you have set up for the report itself instead of all records for a particular web page.
  • The Detailed Web Report (found under the User Report – Web tab, the Web Report, and the Advanced Report by URL) now shows data by Category and not just the Base URL if some URL’s are categorised under different Web Categories (Fortigate only).
  • The CSV export engine is now fully revamped to allow it to handle exporting large datasets.
