Authentication and Authorisation

• Google directory service integration (User Groups setup) is supported.
• SSO using Google as Identity Provider (IdP) is supported.
  

Reports

• Detailed report can be exported as CSV and PDF from detailed report view (within App Report, Web Report, Web tab of User Report, and the Advanced Report focusing on URLs).
• New action button in Offline Users Report allows running a User Report for the specific user and selected time range.
• The Alerts sub-report in Custom Reports has been split into two sub-reports: Category Alerts and Dictionary Alerts. Report formatting has been updated.
• Improved formatting for all generated PDF reports.
  

Alerts

• New action button in Alerts History page allows running a User Report if alert type is category or dictionary (video [view], search).
• Whitelisting from Alerts History page now requires selecting existing whitelist group or adding a new whitelist group.
• Historic alert records won’t be deleted from Alerts History page when whitelisting.
• Option to turn on alert notifications for any blocked firewall categories – please send request to our Support team.
• Field name “Students” has changed to “Users” in the Alert form.
  

Rules

• Confirmation check added when selecting “Block All Internet” or “Block Everything Else” options in a Rule setup form.
• Improved formatting for Rules list.
  

Admin

• New item “Alerts Whitelisting” added in menu.
  - Create a Whitelist using a single form (for classifications, phrases or URLs).
  - Specific users and/or groups can be selected when creating a Whitelist.
  - Specific date/time range can be selected when creating a Whitelist.
  - “Global Whitelist” applies to all users at all times.
• Removed “Whitelisted URLs” menu item.
• Removed “Whitelisted Phrases” page in Words & Phrases section.
• “Words & Phrases” and “Alerts Whitelisting” menu items will be visible to Supervisors with Alerts access without needing Assure Admin access.
• New ‘Date/time added’ column in Local and Crowdsourced dictionaries.
• Added filtering fields in all Admin pages.
• Added bulk deletion of User Groups.
  

Integrations

• Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) is now fully integrated with Assure.
• Google Chat message inspection is now supported (previously supported only classic Hangouts).
  

Misc

• Assure back-end had major work done to achieve performance improvement and ability to support more integrations.
• Native log format of Palo Alto firewall is supported. This will help reduce triggering of false category alerts.
• Form validation improvements.
• US date format is supported.
